Textured Hair

February 18, 2016

I have been wanting to texturize my girls hair for quite some time and I was finally able to with the help of a fabulous friend.  I am one of those people that likes to try things out before investing in a product, so I was thrilled when I was able to try THIS texturizing iron.  And, I just want to say, that it really is as amazing as they say that it is.  My girls have super fine hair, especially my littlest, and this iron made all of the difference when it came to thickening her hair!  The crimp that the iron gives is so small that there are times that you can’t even see the texture in it, although you can definitely feel it!  It’s amazing!  I was able to do styles on my girls that I were so full and just beautiful.  Plus it was so much fun to play with their when it was textured and thick!  I kept oh-ing and ah-ing over how thick their hair was when I was braiding it.  I am here to tell you that you will NOT be disappointed with this texturizing iron!  It is one of the coolest hair tools that I have seen and it makes all of the difference in the world!  I would totally recommend this iron to use on little girls with thin hair like mine.  Plus my girls just loved have big and “fluffy” hair, as they called it!

How to use a texturizing iron?  You use it just like you would a straightening iron.  Section off a piece of hair by the neck and clip the rest of the hair up.  Take a small section of that hair and close the iron on the hair by the neck and then open and shut it until you come to the bottom of that section.  That section is now textured.  Now move on to the next piece and do the same method until the entire head is done!  Easy!

Now, how long did this take me to do on my girls?  For my littlest, it only took 10 minutes!  Not long at all!  It took a little longer on big sis, as she does have a bit more hair.

And please don’t forget to use a heat protectant when using hot tools on hair!  This is my favorite one to use!  It is definitely worth using if you don’t want to damage your hair!

Here are the styles that I did.  Some are pretty simple, but they were so different in appearance with the texture!  Seriously, so so amazing!  I can’t get over it!
